July 2026 update: Winners of the £1million Premium Bonds prizes this month are in Kent and Hampshire/Isle of Wight.
The Kent winner holds £21,000 in Premium Bonds and bought their winning bond in February 2026.
The Hampshire/Isle of Wight winner holds £49,850 and snapped theirs up in March 2022.

What are Premium Bonds?
Premium Bonds are a Government savings product offered by NS&I that pay out prizes but no interest.
Every pound that you pay in equals one Premium Bond and each bond has an equal chance of winning a prize: 22,000 to 1.
The underlying rate is currently 3.8 per cent.
The numbers, or more accurately strings of numbers and letters of varying lengths, are selected by a machine known as ERNIE – Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment.
You can buy Premium Bonds online at NS&I with a minimum of £25. You can hold a maximum £50,000 of Premium Bonds.
It’s possible to cash in all or part of your Premium Bonds whenever you like online.
