Leverage Shares Files for Three Anthropic ETFs Ahead of IPO

    September 6, 2026

Leverage Shares by Themes has filed for three exchange-traded funds tied to the daily performance of Anthropic common stock, a move that comes ahead of the AI company’s planned initial public offering. The funds, carrying the tickers ANUU, ANDD and ANSS, are intended to list on the Cboe, though no launch date has been set and shares will not be sold until the Securities and Exchange Commission declares the registration effective.

ANUU is designed to seek 200% of Anthropic’s daily performance before fees and expenses, while ANDD targets negative 200% and ANSS targets negative 100%. The funds do not invest directly in Anthropic shares; instead they use derivatives such as swaps to achieve their exposure. Leverage Shares warns that the products are not suitable for long-term holding and that investors could lose their entire principal in a single day. Shares would trade at market prices rather than net asset value, and the tickers could change before launch. The funds are non-diversified, and the adviser covers all fund expenses except those specifically excluded.

Anthropic is not affiliated with the ETFs, according to the filing, which was announced from Greenwich, Conn., on Sept. 4. Preliminary prospectuses for ANUU, ANDD and ANSS are available.

The filing follows Anthropic’s confidential S-1 submission, part of its plan to go public this year. The company closed a $65 billion funding round at a $965 billion valuation, up from $380 billion three months earlier. Its annualized revenue crossed $47 billion in May, compared with $30 billion earlier this year and $10 billion last year. Anthropic had told investors it expected to be profitable in the first six months of 2026, according to earlier reporting.

Anthropic is racing OpenAI and SpaceX to the public markets. SpaceX, which merged with xAI earlier this year, is reportedly targeting a $1.8 trillion valuation, while OpenAI has been preparing a confidential prospectus of its own, according to earlier reporting.
