    (AOF) – Generali Investments, société de gestion appartenant au groupe Generali, et MGG Investment Group, société américaine privée d’investissement en prêts directs, ont annoncé la signature d’un accord définitif en vertu duquel Conning & Company, la filiale à 100 % de Generali Investments, acquerra une participation majoritaire au sein du capital de MGG et de ses filiales. MGG Investment Group affiche plus de 6 milliards de dollars d’actifs sous gestion.

    Lancée en 2014 par Kevin Griffin et McCourt Global, MGG est une société familiale privée, basée à New York, qui fournit des prêts garantis de premier rang et des solutions de capital structuré aux entreprises américaines du marché intermédiaire.

    Depuis sa création, la société a investi plus de 10 milliards de dollars via plus de 175 transactions, en privilégiant une approche différenciée axée sur les emprunteurs non sponsorisés et les situations financières complexes et sur mesure.

    La transaction devrait être finalisée en 2025, sous réserve des approbations et
    conditions de clôture habituelles. L’impact négatif estimé sur le ratio de solvabilité II du Groupe Generali est d’environ 2 points de pourcentage.
