    Reinet Investments en discussions pour vendre sa participation dans l’assureur britannique PIC

    Le véhicule d’investissement luxembourgeois Reinet Investments a annoncé vendredi être en pourparlers en vue de la cession potentielle de sa participation de près de 50 % dans l’assureur britannique Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC).

    La société n’a pas précisé les détails de ces discussions ni l’identité des parties concernées.

    La semaine dernière, la chaîne Sky News rapportait que le groupe européen de services d’épargne et de retraite Athora serait en négociations pour acquérir PIC, dans le cadre d’une opération qui pourrait valoriser l’entreprise jusqu’à 5 milliards de livres sterling (soit environ 6,86 milliards de dollars).

    Athora bénéficie du soutien d’Apollo Global Management.

    PIC appartient à un consortium d’actionnaires, parmi lesquels figure la société de capital-investissement CVC Capital Partners.
