2 Aspiriant Mutual Funds to Consider for Your Portfolio

    October 17, 2026

Aspiriant is an independent wealth management firm based in Los Angeles, CA. The firm was formed in 2008 through the merger of two existing companies, Kochis Fitz (founded in San Francisco in 1991) and Quintile Wealth Management (founded in Los Angeles in 2002).

Aspiriant’s mutual funds differ by strategy, including asset allocation, market exposure and investment risk. Each Aspiriant mutual fund has its own investment objectives, portfolio composition and risk characteristics, making it a diversified investment option.

We have picked two Aspiriant mutual funds — Aspiriant Risk-Managed Equity Allc Adv RMEAX and Aspiriant Risk-Managed Municipal Bond RMMBX— which investors should buy now for the long term. These funds have a Zacks Mutual Fund Rank #1 (Strong Buy) or Rank 2 (Buy), with positive three-year and five-year annualized returns, minimum initial investments within $5000 and expense ratios considerably lower than the category average. So, these funds have provided a comparatively stronger performance and carry a lower fee.

Aspiriant Risk-Managed Equity Allc Adv fund invests its net assets (plus borrowings) in equity securities, including common and preferred stock and depositary receipts, and may use rights, warrants, and investment company shares.

John Allen has been the lead manager of RMEAX since Oct. 31, 2015. Most of the fund’s holdings were in companies such as GMO Quality VI. (34.5%), Schwab Fundamental US Large Company Idx (7.2%) and Baillie Gifford Emerging Markets Eqs (5.7%) as of June 30, 2026.

RMEAX’s 3-year and 5-year annualized returns are 16.2% and 8.9%, respectively. Its net expense ratio is 0.29%. RMEAX has a Zacks Mutual Fund Rank #2.

Aspiriant Risk-Managed Municipal Bond fund invests its total assets in municipal securities whose income is exempt from regular federal income tax, including obligations issued by U.S. states and their subdivisions, authorities, instrumentalities, and corporations, as well as obligations issued by U.S. territories.

Paul L. Brennan has been the lead manager of RMMBX since July 1, 2015. Most of the fund’s holdings were in companies such as Miscellaneous Bonds (12.9%), Other (7.5%) and Cash (6.8%) as of March 31, 2026.

RMMBX’s 3-year and 5-year annualized returns are 3.1% and 0.2%, respectively. Its net expense ratio is 0.34%. RMMBX has a Zacks Mutual Fund Rank #2.
