Nippon India Taiwan Equity Fund was formed on December 11, 2011. The mutual fund scheme is managed by Kinjal Desai. The fund offers a diversification opportunity as it lets investors to park their money into high conviction stocks of companies listed in the stock exchanges of Taiwan. The fund investment follows long-term horizon and will follow a bottom up investment approach layered with flexible cash position.
As per Nippon India website, the fund comes with a 1% exit load ratio if the investment is redeemed or switched out on or before the completion of three months from the date of allotment of units. Nippon India Taiwan Equity Fund 66.46% return in five years and a whopping 217% return in one year.
