Synopsis
Mutual funds’ share rose by 224 basis points in total assets under management (AUM) of institutional investors – the largest increase among institutional investors. The value of domestic funds’ equity portfolios, spanning equity-related exposures such as equity funds, balanced funds, arbitrage funds, ETFs, and index funds surged 59% year-on-year to a record ₹42.57 lakh crore last month.
