Rs 25,000 Monthly SIP For 5 Years: How much could your investment have grown in top-performing midcap mutual funds?

    September 14, 2026

An SIP of Rs 25,000 every month may look manageable for many investors, but over five years it can build a sizeable investment. The final value, however, will depend on how the selected mutual fund has performed during that period. Some midcap schemes may deliver much higher returns than others because of differences in their portfolio, fund management, and investment strategy.

Looking only at the highest return is not enough when choosing a fund. Investors should also check how consistently the scheme has performed, its expense ratio, fund size, and how it behaved during weak market phases. Past performance can help in comparing funds, but it does not guarantee the same returns in the future.

In this article, we will look at some of the top-performing midcap mutual funds over the last five years and calculate how much a Rs 25,000 monthly SIP could have grown during the same period.
