Wesleyan launches two new with-profits funds

    July 3, 2026

Financial services mutual Wesleyan has launched two With Profit Funds to increase access to smoothed investments for advisers.

The funds, With Profits Cautious Fund and With Profits Adventurous Fund, are designed to help advisers meet a broader range of client objectives and sit alongside the mutual’s other funds that employ smoothing to adjust returns over time.

Together, the expanded range gives advisers three options with different risk profiles when incorporating smoothed funds into diversified portfolios.

The mutual specified that its Cautious Fund is aimed at clients with a lower appetite for risk, while the Adventurous Fund is for those seeking greater growth potential.

Wesleyan managing director of intermediary distribution, Karen Blatchford, said: “More advisers are looking for investment solutions that help clients to navigate market volatility while remaining focused on their long-term goals.

“Smoothing can play an important role in supporting better client outcomes, but advisers need access to solutions that reflect the differing needs and risk profiles of the people they advise.

“By expanding our With Profits range, we’re giving advisers greater flexibility to recommend a smoothed investment solution that is appropriate for a broader range of clients.”

Blatchford added that Wesleyan has spent the last five years working to make smoothing “more accessible” by adding its fund to independent platforms, and that its new funds are another important step in that journey.

“It also forms part of our wider ambition as a group to enhance our investment capabilities,” she concluded.

Additionally, the mutual stated that its smooth With-Profits fund range is designed specifically for independent adviser platforms, offering daily pricing, daily trading and daily smoothing to give advisers and their clients instant access to the information they need.

The launch follows a series of milestones in Wesleyan’s efforts to increase access to smoothing across the adviser market as, earlier this year, Copia Capital Management launched its Select Smoothed Portfolios range incorporating Wesleyan.
