Money multiplier mutual funds: Over 50% return since Diwali ’23! 3 small cap schemes grow Rs 10k SIP to…

    Article Highlights

    • ET NOW Digital has 3 small cap mutual fund schemes that delivered over 50 per cent returns since last Diwali
    • The schemes include Invesco India Smallcap Fund, ITI Small Cap Fund, and Bandhan Small Cap Fund
    • Here’s a look at how they grew a Rs 10,000 monthly SIP over the last one year

Money multiplier mutual funds: Over the past few months, investors have shown a great interest in small cap funds for the returns they offered in the past. For the uninitiated, these are funds that invest in small companies (with market capitalisation of less than Rs 5,000 crores) in India.

Owing to their great returns in the past, ET NOW Digital scanned and found 3 mutual fund schemes in the small cap category that have delivered over 50 per cent returns since last Diwali, meaning in the last one year. The winning scheme generated 65 per cent returns in the same duration.

    Money Multiplier Mutual Funds

The small cap mutual fund schemes in focus here are Invesco India Smallcap Fund, ITI Small Cap Fund, and Bandhan Small Cap Fund. The direct plans of the 3 schemes have delivered over 50 per cent gains in the last 1 year to investors. Every mutual fund scheme has two plans – a regular and a direct plan.

While a regular plan is bought through a mutual fund distributor, direct plans are purchased from the fund house directly.

    Small Cap Multibagger Mutual Funds

Here’s a look at the top 3 small cap mutual fund schemes in the category and how they grew a Rs 10,000 SIP in the last one year:

Invesco India Smallcap Fund – The direct plan of the scheme delivered 51.68% return in the last one year. A Rs 10,000 monthly SIP in the direct plan of the scheme in the last one year would have grown an investors’ corpus to Rs 1,41,278.

ITI Small Cap Fund – The direct plan of the scheme delivered 52.67% return in the last one year. A Rs 10,000 monthly SIP in the direct plan of the scheme in the last one year would have grown an investors’ corpus to Rs 1,38,028.

Bandhan Small Cap Fund – The direct plan of the scheme delivered 65.22% return in the last one year. A Rs 10,000 monthly SIP in the direct plan of the scheme in the last one year would have grown an investors’ corpus to Rs 1,48,169.
