This mutual fund has turned ₹10,000 monthly SIP into over ₹6.5 lakh in 4 years

    September 3, 2025

Investors who started a ₹10,000 per month Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) in Canara Robeco Value Fund at its launch on September 3, 2021, would have seen their investment of ₹4.70 lakh grow to ₹6.57 lakh by July 31, 2025. This reflects an XIRR of 17.38%, according to Canara Robeco Mutual Fund.

The fund, an open-ended equity scheme following a value investing approach, has delivered a CAGR of 16.68% under the Regular Plan – Growth Option since inception.

Its performance compares with 12.92% from its benchmark, BSE 500 TRI, and 10.29% from the additional benchmark, BSE SENSEX TRI.

Canara Robeco Value Fund primarily invests in companies trading below their intrinsic value, maintaining a margin of safety while aiming for long-term capital appreciation. As of June 30, 2025, the fund’s portfolio consisted of 56 stocks, with the top 10 holdings contributing 40.47% of net assets. Sector allocation included 21.72% in banks, followed by IT, petroleum products, pharmaceuticals, and other equities.

The scheme is managed by Vishal Mishra and Silky Jain and had a month-end AUM of ₹1,325.02 crore as of June 30, 2025.

The fund offers both lump sum and SIP investment options, with no entry load and an exit load applicable if redeemed within 365 days.

Canara Robeco Mutual Fund noted that past performance does not guarantee future returns, and the fund is suitable for investors seeking long-term capital growth through a value-oriented equity strategy.
