If there’s one drink that has taken the cocktail scene by storm this year, it’s the espresso martini. This velvety smooth drink, with its blend of rich espresso and a boozy kick, is perfect whether you’re starting your night or capping off dinner with a pick-me-up. Tampa is buzzing with spots that serve up some of the best espresso martinis in town. From upscale restaurants to cozy lounges, here are the must-visit places for espresso martini lovers.

For an unforgettable espresso martini experience, head to Lilac at The Tampa EDITION. This chic, vibrant spot is perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends. Their signature Halva Martini, made with Ketel One vodka and a shot of espresso, is garnished with black sesame seeds for a unique touch. Just like Lilac’s MICHELIN-starred status, this martini is bound to impress.

Rome & Fig’s famous espresso martini tree is a must-try. This Instagram-worthy tree serves four handcrafted martinis, each with its own flavor twist. Traditionalists will love the classic martini made with Florida cane vanilla, Borghetti coffee liqueur, and fresh espresso. Feeling adventurous? Try the Tequila Chili with reposado tequila, chili honey, and mole bitters, or the Lavender martini with lavender-infused vodka and Borghetti. There’s even a Salted Caramel version for those with a sweet tooth.

Counter Culture has been stealing our hearts for years, but their take on the espresso martini, the Espresso Patronum, is truly magical. Enjoy it alongside one of their delectable desserts or on its own.
