In total, savers in the county scooped £381,000 in the April draw.

Premium Bonds holders in Westmorland and Furness landed £202,000 across 67 prizes.

Their haul included two £50,000 jackpots, one £10,000 prize, seven wins of £5,000 and 57 prizes of £1,000.

One £50,000 prize went to bond number 575MS680377, part of a £42,075 holding, with the £20,000 bond bought in April 2024, while the other was won by bond number 648TV229167, part of a £36,825 holding, with the £50 bond bought in November 2025.

Cumberland bond holders picked up £179,000 between them from 55 prizes.

One saver there won £50,000, another banked £25,000, while three people won £10,000, six took home £5,000 and 44 landed £1,000.

The £50,000 prize in Cumberland went to bond number 549DM463667, which is part of a £22,591 holding, with the £2,000 bond bought in August 2023.

Premium Bonds are a Government-backed savings scheme where each £1 held gives one entry into a monthly prize draw, with a maximum holding of £50,000.
