Shawford Springs Christmas fayre raised funds for charity

    December 21, 2025

Shawford Springs invited residents, families, staff and local community members to enjoy an afternoon of festive fun and fundraising.

The care home was filled with the sounds of live music, and the scent of mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies filled the air, creating a warm, festive atmosphere.

Guests had the chance to browse a selection of stalls packed with unique Christmas gifts.

A festive raffle was a highlight of the event, with enthusiastic participation.

Funds raised will aid the Cash for Kids charity, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children across the UK.

Cassie Munnoch, general manager of Shawford Springs, said: “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make our Christmas Fayre such a fabulous afternoon.

“Bringing our community together to celebrate the season while supporting a brilliant cause like Cash for Kids is what the festive spirit is all about.

“The atmosphere was truly wonderful, and seeing so many smiling faces was the perfect start to our Christmas celebrations.”

The event organisers have thanked visitors, volunteers and stallholders who participated.

The funds raised will provide vital support to children in need this Christmas.
