Slough Langley College holds monthly Sip & Shop event

    April 3, 2026

Sip & Shop, which launched on Saturday, March 28, at Langley College in Slough, is an initiative by Slough Modest Sisters designed to offer more than just coffee and shopping.

It aims to support wellbeing, foster connection, and provide a welcoming space for people to socialise while also promoting local entrepreneurs.

Organisers Roshy and Sima said: “The idea behind Sip & Shop is simple but meaningful.

“We wanted to create a space where people can come together – especially those who may feel isolated or simply want to meet new people and build friendships.

“At the same time, we want to support our local small businesses by giving them a platform to showcase their products and grow their brand.”

The event begins with a community coffee morning from 10.30am to 11.30am, giving residents the opportunity to connect over a warm drink and conversation.

Afterwards, visitors can browse stalls from a range of small businesses until 5pm, featuring handmade goods, gifts, and treats.

A children’s play area is also available on site to make the event family-friendly.

The organisers hope the event will become a staple in the Slough calendar by bringing people together and boosting local business trade.

Sip & Shop will be held every month, with upcoming dates confirmed for Saturday, April 25, and Saturday, June 27, both at Langley College.

The event is open to everyone, whether stopping by for a coffee and chat, hoping to meet new people, or looking to support local businesses.

Stallholders and small business owners interested in taking part are encouraged to contact the organisers.

Sip & Shop is the result of a collaboration between Slough Modest Sisters, Blissful Moments, Apni Roti, and Sensory Steps – each organisation shares a commitment to community connection and support.

Together, they hope to reduce isolation, build friendships, and strengthen the foundation of small businesses.

Langley College, is on Langley Road, SL3 8GW.

To find out more or inquire about having a stall, residents are encouraged to reach out to the organisers.
