The new Savour, Sips and Sounds series means you can enjoy a berbere chicken lollipop or smokehouse burger sliders while taking in live music.
DE PERE – Just when you think all the summer concert series are winding down, here’s one that’s just starting up.
The Mulva Cultural Center’s new Savour, Sips and Sounds begins Aug. 29 and will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for five consecutive Thursdays on the north patio.
The free series features local musicians playing an outdoor space with fireside tables, couches and views of the sunset over the Fox River. Guests can purchase food and beverages, including wine and craft beers. Each concert highlights an item from the Mulva’s restaurant, Savour on Broadway, served in a smaller portion for the series.
Here are the artists and the menu items:
- Aug. 29: Seth James; mini charcuterie
- Sept. 5: Jacob Fannin; smokehouse burger sliders
- Sept. 12: Carmyn; Buffalo and smoky garlic Parm cauliflower wings
- Sept. 19: Levi Ballenger; Ahi tuna nachos
- Sept. 26: Open Tab; berbere chicken lollipop with sweet potato gnocchi
